Properties of the large vintage frame

This Large Vintage Frame is made of ayous and tulipwood.  We combine those two kinds of wood to obtain a durable product but very light at the same time. Ayous is the soft and tender wood that allows us to work easily the shape of the frame. Instead, tulipwood is the hardwood that will be used to strengthen the back of the frame. As almost every one of our frames, this model, is completely customizable in order to meet any client’s desire. For instance, you can either change the shape of the profile or the finishing.

We fix the decorations on wood and then we apply four hands of gesso on top of them. The result is astonishing. They look very smooth and look like part of the wood.
